Watani Steel Reports Normal Production and Strong Saudi Rebar Demand

Watani Iron Steel is operating its factories at normal rates after overcoming earlier fire-related disruptions, CEO Yousef Al-Turaif told Argaam on 1 November. He described Saudi demand for rebar as strong and steady, supported by infrastructure, government and real estate projects. Most company sales remain concentrated in the domestic market. Al-Turaif also linked third-quarter revenue growth to higher sales volumes and restored production stability. His comments describe conditions at Watani and its customer markets, rather than a quantified measure of total Saudi rebar consumption.
